The Tourism Development Corporation's Bites on Bay returned to the corner of Bay Street and Elizabeth Avenue on July 5, transforming downtown Nassau into a vibrant celebration of food, music and entrepreneurship. More than a dozen vendors gave guests plenty to choose from, including Blue Plate Catering, The Burger Press Co., Oomami, Tropical Gyros, Taqueria Don Flamingo, DreamCocktailz, Wicked Wingz, Luxury Elixirs, 7 & Seven, The New Duff and Island Açaí. Retail vendors Wilde Pepper Jelly, Luzy Collection, Da Goat Bahamian Made Goat Soap Products and Anji's Delightful Teas also showcased a variety of locally made products.
The food lovers event also included performances from DJ Epic, Chambers Junkanoo Productions, Shine242, DJ Tank, FanShawn and Synergy Band, creating an energetic atmosphere for residents and visitors alike. Held every few months, the Bites on Bay initiative continues to grow, with the long-term goal of transforming the location into a permanent food truck destination that celebrates global cuisine, local entrepreneurs and community culture.
