Equity Bank Bahamas Limited hosted its 9th Annual Charitable Art Exhibition on Sunday, November 1, at Equity Trust House, Caves Village, showcasing the work of talented local artists while supporting a worthy cause.

This year's exhibition supported the Bahamas Humane Society, with 15% of artwork sales being donated to the organisation.

Senior Marketing Manager Sasha Dean explained that each year, Equity Bank selects a nonprofit organisation to benefit from the exhibition, with this year's beneficiary chosen by the bank's chairman, Ivylyn Cassar, who also supports the Bahamas Humane Society through philanthropic efforts.

Featured artists included Kevin Cooper, Sophie McCarroll, Deime Ubani, John Paul Saddleton, June Collie, Preston Hanna, Kara Cartwright, Malia Kinger, Jessica Whittingham, Jalan Harris and Amaani Hepburn.

Participating artist Kevin Cooper, whose work captures Bahamian landscapes, seascapes and portraits, spoke about finding inspiration through his travels and the importance of supporting animal welfare.

The exhibition brought together art, philanthropy and community, highlighting the power of creativity to make a difference.
