Mykah Smith Brings Pilates, Prosecco and a Holistic Approach to Wellness to Grand Bahama
For wellness professional and entrepreneur Mykah Smith, wellness is about much more than movement. Her holistic approach brings together nutrition, physical activity, mental health and community, creating experiences that encourage connection, personal growth and overall well-being.
Smith is bringing that philosophy to Grand Bahama with her inaugural Pilates & Prosecco event, taking place on Sunday, November 29, 2026, from 11am to 2pm at Lignum Vitae Market in Freeport, in collaboration with Bristol Wines & Spirits.
The afternoon will feature a one-hour Pilates session, light brunch bites, a prosecco hour, henna and photo opportunities. Participants of all experience levels are welcome, with an autumn-inspired dress code adding a little extra flair to the experience.
"My goal for this event isn't to just come and do a drop-in Pilates class. It's to create an experience where people become a little bit more curious," Smith shared. She also hopes to introduce participants to existing Pilates instructors and wellness spaces in Freeport, while creating opportunities for the local wellness community to connect.
And Smith isn't slowing down as the year comes to a close. She's already planning Taste of the Season, a December tea experience featuring festive blends inspired by cranberry, cinnamon, nutmeg and other seasonal flavours.
With a focus on connection, collaboration and holistic wellness, Smith hopes these experiences will be the beginning of even more opportunities to engage with the Grand Bahama community.
