VIDEO HIGHLIGHT On March 27, The Current Gallery at the Baha Mar Resort opened a solo exhibition by artist Lynn Parotti titled The Rewilding of Aquabotanica. The exhibition features Parotti's latest oil paintings, which explore themes of nature and human interaction.
In addition to Parotti's work at The Current, there are several other exhibitions and events worth checking out in New Providence and beyond. Dylan Rapillard’s Gitch, Kitsch & Things Mother Would Like is currently on view at the CAB Art Gallery in New Providence, and will be open until April 11. This exhibition examines modern life through a unique and thought-provoking lens.
The NELEVEN: Into the Void exhibition at the National Art Gallery of The Bahamas is another must-see, running until December 31. The show focuses on existential themes and the search for meaning. Also in New Providence, the Scatter Seeds exhibition at TERN Gallery opened recently and will be on display until May 17, offering a deeper look at growth and transformation.
For those interested in music, the Nassau Music Society will present a piano concert by Xiaolu Zang on March 30 at St. Paul’s Church Hall. Meanwhile, ArtLucaya will take place at Mosaic Art Hub in Grand Bahama from April 4–6, with the gallery remaining open until May 12.
