The Young Chefs' Competition finals were held today during the Bahamas Culinary & Arts Festival. The three teams faced off in a friendly but intense competition, where they had just 90 minutes to prepare an appetizer and entrée using only branzino, brie, pickled blueberries, green beans, tomato jam and the mystery ingredient, Granny Smith apples.

Team SLS, featuring Shilo Cartwright of St. Anne’s and Neveah Lundy of UB, took first place.

Team Grand Hyatt, featuring Gniha Charlton of SAC and Nathan Pickering of UB, placed second, while Team Rosewood, represented by Cartia Murphy of Temple Christian and Savannah Ritchie of UB, came third.
