The vibrant art scene in The Bahamas continues to thrive, offering both residents and visitors a chance to engage with an array of exhibitions, performances, and cultural events. In New Providence, two exciting new exhibitions are currently on display, showcasing the dynamic range of Bahamian artistic expression. The first, Gitch, Kitch & Things Mother Would Like by Dylan Rapillard, opened on March 20 at the CAB Art Gallery and will remain on display until April 11. This exhibition explores the intersection of cultural identity and everyday life, offering a playful yet thought-provoking commentary on Bahamian culture. Meanwhile, NELEVEN: Into the Void at the National Art Gallery of The Bahamas invites viewers to engage with contemporary art that pushes boundaries and encourages a deeper exploration of the unknown. The NELEVEN exhibition will run until December 31.
