We're back with another First Impressions Highlight, and this time we headed to Le Petit Jardin Restaurant, located at the Champion Spirit Country Club in Western New Providence. This members-only fitness and wellness club is known for its commitment to elite-level training and a holistic approach to personal wellness, and now it has added a new culinary offering to its campus with the soft launch of its in-house restaurant.

Le Petit Jardin blends French cuisine with a focus on balance and nutrition, clearly designed to reflect the club’s overall ethos. Reservations are required, so a quick call to the club is needed before planning a visit. The atmospher is relaxed, open, and effortlessly laid-back. It’s the kind of setting where you can settle in without feeling rushed, ideal for post-workout brunches or easygoing lunches. We sampled several dishes, including the Salmon & Avocado Tartar, French Toast, and a Matcha Latte, all of which were impressively fresh. The mint dressing on the side salad was also delicious, but the true standout was the ratatouille—a dish that unexpectedly stole the show with its depth of flavor. While the burger was fine, it didn’t shine quite as brightly as the chef’s French specialties, which we’d recommend leaning into if you visit.

Le Petit Jardin is still in its early stages, but based on our first visit, it’s off to a promising start. As with all of our First Impressions, this review reflects a single experience and a personal perspective, but we’re excited to see how this spot evolves in the months ahead.
