Cable Bahamas will host its annual iNSPIREHER conference on November 20, and this year brings two well known voices to the stage. Actress and author Tabitha Brown will join Debra Lee, the former CEO of BET Networks, for a series of conversations that aim to share experience and practical guidance. The event will take place across two sessions. The morning session will focus on students. The evening session will welcome women who want support as they work toward personal or professional growth.
Organizers say the goal is to build a space where people can learn from each other. Amber Carey, Vice President of Marketing and Consumer Solutions, said the team works each year to make the conference more meaningful.
Attendees can expect open conversations with Brown and Lee along with time to connect with community leaders and changemakers. The event will highlight mentorship and real life stories from women who have shaped their fields. It will also offer simple tools that women can use in work and everyday life.
iNSPIREHER began in 2022 under the name Sorry, Not Sorry. It was created as part of Cable Bahamas commitment to support women in leadership, especially in the ICT sector. Since then it has reached women across many industries. This year’s gathering builds on that foundation as the conference prepares to welcome a wide range of voices on November 20.
