If you're looking for a truly unforgettable dining experience, mark your calendars for March 22 at the Nassau Cruise Port. Chef Bri, the creative force behind Authentique Delights, will be treating guests to a one-of-a-kind seven-course meal at the upcoming Edible Art Showcase. This immersive culinary event promises to deepen your appreciation for the art of food and will offer a delightful fusion of Caribbean flavors with gourmet touches. Tickets for this exclusive experience are $175 per person, which includes the seven-course meal and two expertly paired drinks.

Chef Bri’s passion for cooking began at an early age, growing up surrounded by the delicious meals created by her family. As a child, she witnessed the magic of food shared around a table, sparking a deep connection to cooking that would evolve into a lifelong career. "I've always been a chef at heart," Chef Bri says. "Cooking is truly my God-given talent." Her journey took her from the Bahamas to Toronto, where a craving for fresh seafood led her to create her own flavors, and thus, Authentique Delights was born. What started as a few plates shared with friends quickly grew into a flourishing business, allowing her to craft dishes that celebrate the beauty of Bahamian food while embracing global influences.

Guests at the Edible Art Showcase can look forward to a sensory journey where food and art merge seamlessly. "I’m crafting a palette explosion with artistic appeal, unique flavors, and international influences, all woven with Bahamian undertones," Chef Bri explains. Each dish will be beautifully plated, accompanied by perfectly paired drinks, and set to the backdrop of great music, creating an experience that stays with you long after the last bite.

The event’s menu promises a unique culinary experience, starting with the Oxtail Rangoon, which combines tender braised oxtail and cream cheese in a crispy wonton, topped with mango pepper jelly. Following this, guests will enjoy shrimp stuffed with a lobster and cucumber salad. The Conch Confit pairs cracked conch with layers of confit potatoes, all drizzled with a sweet-spicy calypso sauce for a true Bahamian delight.

For a light refreshment, guests will enjoy the Guava Passion Lime Sorbet—a tropical fusion of guava, passion fruit, and lime. The Mutton et Bourbon Coconut offers grilled chicken in a rich bourbon coconut salsa, while the Grouper Truffle Mac ‘N’ Cheese serves up crispy grouper with creamy four-cheese truffle mac for a savory, indulgent dish. To conclude the meal, the Peach Cobbler Cheesecake will be the perfect sweet ending, blending spiced peaches with smooth cheesecake for a heavenly finish.

Chef Bri’s cooking style, which she calls Contemporary Caribbean Fusion, is a reflection of her personal history with food. "I've had the privilege of working across the globe, embracing diverse culinary traditions while staying rooted in my Bahamian heritage," she explains. Each dish she creates is a love letter to the islands, infused with global influences and prepared with the most important ingredient of all: love.
