Tidal Imprints Exhibit Opens Tonight at The Suite: ECCHO

Tidal Imprints, the newest chapter in the NAGB’s Double Dutch series, opens tonight at The Suite: ECCHO, Baha Mar. The exhibition brings together photographers Melissa Alcena and Cédrine Scheidig under the curatorial direction of Amanda Coulson. Their work presents two distinct yet interrelated visual perspectives that open up a compelling dialogue on Caribbean identity, place, and memory.

The Double Dutch series continues its mission to foster experimental collaboration among Bahamian and Caribbean artists, encouraging audiences to engage with fresh approaches to seeing and understanding the region.

The opening takes place Friday, 21 November at 6:30pm, beginning with an Artists’ Talk with both photographers. On Saturday, 22 November, a free portrait photography workshop led by the artists will be held at The Suite: ECCHO, Baha Mar from 10am to 1pm.
