The Nassau Brunch Series has returned with a flavourful twist, inviting guests to swap the dining table for a cutting board at The Kitchen, Baha Mar’s culinary studio. This hands-on experience allows guests to cook, taste, sip, and learn, all under the guidance of the energetic Chef Tevin and his team.

What sets this brunch apart is the setup. Each person is given their own cooking station with all the ingredients prepped and ready, making it easy to dive into the process even if you’re not exactly a pro in the kitchen. The atmosphere is fun and interactive, and Chef Tevin keeps the mood light but informative, sharing tips and techniques while encouraging everyone to enjoy the process as much as the plate.

House-made beverages keep things refreshing throughout the class. For this session, the featured drink was a Ginger Hibiscus Lemonade with an optional splash of bubbles, striking just the right balance between sweet, tart, and celebratory. Guests are also treated to additional chef-prepared dishes during the class, adding to the sense that this is more than just a lesson—it’s a full culinary experience.

During a recent class, guests cooked up Brown Butter Coconut Shrimp paired with Coconut Pigeon Peas and Grits, a dish that brought together familiar ingredients with a gourmet edge. The sweet finish came in the form of chef-made French Toast, served with Pineapple Compote, Guava Butter Rum Sauce, and Toasted Coconut, alongside a savoury frittata that rounded out the plate beautifully.

With rotating themes, menus, and seasonal ingredients, each brunch class at The Kitchen offers something fresh and unexpected. For anyone looking to switch up their weekend routine with great food and even better company, this is one brunch that’s well worth booking. To find out what’s next on the schedule, visit the Baha Mar Dining page and reserve your spot at the stove.
